This week the students learned about Peter and Tabitha. Tabitha was an inspiring community leader that believed in paying it forward and helping her neighbors. When she fell ill and passed away, her friends prepared her body. Peter, as one of Jesus's disciples, came to see her body. He prayed over her and asked God if she was finished helping her community. As one of God's miracles, Tabitha awoke! The students prepared flowers and cards for their mothers today after hearing about this story for Mother's Day! They also brainstormed many ideas that they could use to pay it forward in their own neighborhoods.
