Today the students learned all about Jesus and his disciplines in the Garden of Gethsemane. We read the story, listened to a song about the story, and then the students made prayer jars. The students covered the jars in a glue solution and tissue paper, which emulates stained glass. Then, they attached pictures of Jesus and a message about prayer jars. We also talked about when, how, and why we pray.
