Sunday School Fun: April 29, 2018

Today, the students learned all about Lydia and about how to grow God's love! They continued to brainstorm what grows and ideas for random acts of kindness that they shared on a tablecloth in the fellowship hall. Then, they cut out ideas for kindness and created their own random acts of kindness calendar for May! Each day of the month had ideas for how to be kind, such as helping by cleaning their rooms, running errands, calling a friend, and smiling! The students also created fortune tellers (affectionately nicknamed "cootie catchers") about the characters from the bible story from today! They listened to the story and planted seeds to make beautiful flowers. Some of the flowers will even be purple which was Lydia's favorite color! They did an awesome job today. Special thanks to Catalina, our resident Lydia for wearing our purple jersey and representing the incredible woman from the Bible!
