Sunday School Fun: April 2, 2017

Today, the Sunday School students learned more about Jesus' disciples leading up to his crucifixion. Peter denied Jesus three times before the cock crowed after Jesus was betrayed by Judas. Although Jesus warned Peter that he would do this, he did not believe Jesus. He was later ashamed of himself for denying his teacher and his friend in order to not be associated with Jesus and save himself from persecution. The students completed activities and heard this story to represent its significance.
