Sunday School Fun: April 1, 2018

April 1, 2018 / Leave a Comment

Today is Easter Sunday! The students got to see first-hand what it looks like for Jesus to rise again and take away our sins through some awesome experiments. First, the students had a mini Easter Egg Hunt in the classroom. They were great sports and shared all of their haul with each other! Then, they checked out what happens when you put raisins in water. Spoiler alert: They SINK! But, when you put raisins in soda, they FLOAT! Jesus rose again! Also, the students got to see what happens when we take helium balloons that float and put plastic bags over them. Even though they are light, these bags represented our since as they caused the balloons to hit the ground. Removing the bags let them float again! The students also got to watch the "He Has Risen" story from their short series, read the story, and hear a prayer about today's lesson. Happy Easter from our Sunday School to all of you!
