One of our young parishioners really needs your prayers. Jessica Williamson (daughter of Kathy and Carl Williamson) is a freshman at Vilanova University. In September, she was experiencing severe headaches and came to find that she had a tumor in the left frontal lobe of her brain. She had surgery at the University of Penn Hospital in October and they were able to remove most of the mass. However, a small portion is rooted near her speech center and the remaining tissue was treated with radiation and chemotherapy. In addition, she also started immunotherapy and an MRI is performed every three months to monitor her progress. She has returned to school and, despite her challenges, has been working hard and volunteering her time to help children with special needs. She is an inspiration and, given her courage, needs both our prayers and encouragement. If you have the capability to access her on-line the link is posthope.org/one-miracle-day-at-a-time-with-jessie. Her father is managing the website and everyone is welcome to send her positive thoughts. It really does make a difference and she is open to sharing her experience. Take a moment and let her know that you care.
