Jazz Service: October 15, 2017

October 15 is the date for our second annual Jazz Worship. 
 
Joining us for worship will be Paul Rostock and Nancy Reed.  Paul was with us for last year’s worship. He is a bassist who has performed with many well-known artists and tours with Frank Sinatra, Jr. and his orchestra.  Nancy Reed will be with us for the first time. She was born into a musical family – her father a jazz and classical pianist and a mother who sings opera. Nancy is a vocalist and bassist.
 
Dave Roth is with us every Sunday as church musician, but is well known as a jazz pianist, having performed with many jazz artists over the years. In addition to his work here he teaches at Moravian College  and is the creator of the Moravian College Summer Youth Jazz Camp as well as other jazz education initiatives.
